[Belvedere, California]: Gordon Blanding, 1908. First edition. 8vo, original printed brown wrappers, wire stitched, 13 pages. Staples rusted, one two-leaf conjugate sprung; a good, sound copy. Item #11077
The wealthy San Francisco lawyer Blanding (whose home was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake) turns his attention to amateur seismology, with mixed results; he also somewhat self-consciously turns his attention to the question of "air-quakes." Blanding also published a few political pamphlets of a moderately crankish nature as the occasion moved him.
