Philosophic Anarchism, -- Its Good Side and Its Very Bad.

Cherokee, Iowa: J. S. Crawford, (1911). First edition. Small 8vo, original printed wrappers, wire stitched, 52 pages. Inserted frontis portrait. Some general staining, a few small holes to several leaves (no loss of sense); a good, sound copy only. Item #11219

A fairly thorough pamphlet attack on anarchism, running through the usual suspects (Godwin, Josiah Warren, Bakunin, Haymarket rioters, etc.) and leavened with homespun aphorism. Crawford appears likely to have been a brother of North Dakota Senator Coe I. Crawford. Staples perished, with rust stains and text block and frontis detached (but present).

Price: $40.00
