With the story of westward migration, Burr's conspiracy, descriptions of Greek revival architecture and regional paper manufacture, and one anecdote of a small-town swindle involving the alleged capture of a "sky foogle," the sale of tickets to a credulous local audience, and the sky foogle's subsequent escape from its cage. This guide includes a few drawings credited to Dard Hunter.
