Romford: Printed by C. Harvey, 1834. First edition. 8vo, removed, 68 pages. Title page loose; loss of text on the trimmed leaf; a very good copy. OCLC locates two copies, with no evidence of a revised edition. Item #12068

An interesting copy of an uncommon pamphlet from this Essex land owner, with evident revisions in ink in a contemporary hand to three leaves and one leaf neatly trimmed away (with loss or excision of text) and some ink lining. Includes attacks on some of Cobbett's financial arguments, arguing here that land-owners' real purchasing power has decreased.
