The text of a Progressive Labor Party forum held in San Francisco on Sept. 22, 1967, under the title, "Kennedyism: The Liberal Offensive against the Anti-War Movement," with the expected attacks on such figures as Bobby Kennedy, Galbraith, Fulbright, and Martin Luther King ("faithfully serving imperialism for years"). The communist PLP had by the late 1960s taken on a tangled role in the New Left and the SDS.
