The business of bourbon in the Gilded Age, a letter on the transfer of notes and sales updates and on getting security from a delinquent New Hampshire customer: "Now in regard to Mr. Donnelly would say, the goods were sold him last November, & it does not look very reasonable that he has any of them on hand, as he has sent two or three small orders C.O.D. for the same goods as sold him at that time, tell him we will take back all our goods on hand & then he must give us a Mortgage on his fixtures or secure it in some way. Will you please attend to this at once as any delay may work against us." The fine letterhead vignette signed Louisville Steam Lith. Co. The cover docketed by Colby & Batcheldor.
