The standard English-Latin dictionary of its period, first published in 1678. Includes a section of law Latin, “Syllabus Vocabulorun quorundam Forensium, quae in Jure Anglico Municipali occurrunt.” Neat ink signature of Tho. Trevor at the head of the title page, with the second Baron Trevor’s bookplate (dated 1738) inserted upside-down on the rear paste-down. Later ink signature on the front paste-down. Some light evidence of damp.
