The annual trade guide to motion picture professionals, with numerous ads and directories for production and talent, all done with an Art Deco flair throughout—including a fine full-page advertisement in red and black from Walt Disney noting that all new Mickey Mouse productions will be in Technicolor. The editorial selections include an update on the development of television, and an article on the first year of the Hays Code, which cleaned up motion pictures: “Agitation against so-called immorality in motion pictures has virtually become nil as a result of the careful examination accorded to product by the production code administration of the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors.”.
