A particularly nice copy in the original condition, published after Flower’s split with Birkbeck, letters touting the myriad benefits of his Albion settlement in southern Illinois even as enthusiasm over the English Prairie experiment was beginning to cool; Flower also devotes considerable ink to an entry in the ongoing pamphlet war with Cobbett.
