An excellent sensationalist popular almanac, including full page woodcut illustrations of such exciting episodes as “Scenes in a Mad House” (to accompany a likely fictional account of a Boston asylum) or of a flogged and impressed American seaman leaping overboard and taking an English navy captain with him.
