Signed in violet pencil on the verso, “Aggie Zuletia, age 23.” A nice portrait of a woman who made her living as a Circassian albino on the sideshow circuit (she pops up in newspaper accounts as late as the 1880s), one of many with a contrived whiff of exotica around her stage name.
