This copy with the contemporary bookplate to the front pastedown of the Welsh Liberal MP and railroad investor, Sir Richard Green Price, a historical figure who himself seems plucked from the sheets of Trollope, this bookplate dating to after his name change to Price after succeeding to Norton Manor in 1861, but prior to being made a baronet in 1874.
