The six principles of the Roman text hand taught with Wrifford’s own instruction system (a novel system of ruling is involved), including engraved examples. The final plate is of the Lord’s Prayer, “well suited to a female style.” Contemporary ink signature (with a few appropriate flourishes) to the label, “Wm. Brattle Jnr.
