An attractive trade card for this homoeopathic doctor in Davenport, Iowa, advertising the dispensary hours and home address almost certainly for George K. Prince (1801-1865), an English-born physician who appears in the U.S. census in Davenport in 1860 and the local directory in 1863 under physicians. His credentials as listed here are impressive (graduate of University of Edinburgh, Licentiate of Apothecary's Hall, London, and a student of the Paris medical school, "of thirty-five years standing.") A nice bit of job printing design from the Quad Cities. Small bit of hand emendation to his hours.
