Title page somewhat soiled and a bit chipped; some general light wear and soiling; a very good copy. Item #19542

On the tensions of regularizing medical practice, this collecting detailed pro-homoeopathic testimony from the affected physicians, arguing that the freedom of scientific inquiry and the fact that no statutory restriction existed against homoeopathic practice suggests the doctors here were unjustly expelled from the Massachusetts Medical Society. (The Society also included in its by-laws a ban on spiritualist doctors and “Thompsonian” physicians.).
