A Call to the Unconverted.
New-York: Published by the American Tract Society, 150 Nassau-Street; D. Fanshaw, Printer, [between 1832 and 1846]. A later edition. Evident publisher’s adhered boards binding of a lilac linen spine, printed spine label, marbled boards, scant 6 x 3.5 inches, 159, [1] pages. Spine seems to have been varnished lightly; label chipped; corners a bit rubbed; with noted faults, a surprisingly clean copy. Item #19954
The pastedowns in this copy have evidently lifted completely from the boards, thus detaching the text block from the linen spine and the boards and laying open the binding structure in a not entirely displeasing way. The conjectured publication dates taken from the AAS copy, noting the 150 Nassau-Street address from 1832 and the departure of Fanshaw in 1846.
