Seven short pieces, printed together for "Gratuitous Circulation," and meant to bolster pro-Union support in the North. Includes early Central Illinois settler Isaac Funk's desk-thumping speech in the Illinois Senate attacking the Democrats and Southern sympathizers in state government. Funk had been a friend of Lincoln since their service in the Blackhawk War. Sabin 42564.
