The potential customer is asked to carefully notice “our discovery bears no relation to electricity as generally understood, which by its jars, shocks and bunching of tissue is harmful. The force we have discovered is gentle, soothing, and removed diseases deposits.” Promotional catalog for the supposed therapeutic benefits of a home ozone battery; the diagram for application in the case of an enlarged prostate gives one pause. With testimonials dated 1895 and 1896. (The bracketless certitude of the OCLC catalog entry’s 1895 imprint is of course dialed back to an [1895?] by the source catalog record at the National Library of Medicine; OCLC also notes another copy, at Rochester.).
