One assumes the blind servant and deaf messenger here should be understood as allegorical rather than literal. Göhring separately published the second book of this title in 1839; of the three copies of this title found on OCLC, two institutions catalog the two volumes together as a set; the AAS catalogs this 1836 edition as a separately-published title.
