A little light foxing throughout; edges of the boards a bit rubbed, label a trifle chipped; a very good copy. Item #19329

The first Canadaigua edition of 1821 did not include the consortium of distributors but went out under the Bemis imprint alone. The patriot chaplain and editor’s posthumous collected moral essays adapted for scholastic use; the first edition appeared in Hudson, N.Y., in 1818, and a number of diverse editions subsequently appeared.
