An early Tennessee imprint from the important early Cumberland Presbyterian figure and active anti-Mormon agitator in Missouri. By all appearances the first substantial book to issue from a Fayetteville press; the Tennessee imprint inventory notes Hills almanacs printed in 1825 and 1826, and suggests an unlocated 1826 Fayetteville title, United States Criminal History—that latter almost certainly the work of that title printed in 1836 in Fayetteville, N. Y. American Imprints 28822; AII (Tennessee) 330.
