Second title: Original decorated wrappers (8.25 x 5.5 inches), 37, [3] pages. Wrappers on Conférence splitting a bit, with the glue loosening along the spine of the text block; otherwise, some light general wear and soiling; in very good condition overall. Item #21329

A couple of fairly early publications from Thibaudeau, attractive technical publications on the use of tracing sketches for layout, suggestive of the need for a freer hand in executing the Art Nouveau styles of the period, each published in Peignot’s series of bimonthly circulars. The terminal ads in the later pamphlet note that the proceeds from the sales of these two publications will benefit “l’Orphelinat du Livre”—the orphanage for children of the printing trade, recently established in 1902 by Joseph Bourdel.
