An attractive specimen, perhaps a large paper deluxe version. Per the colophon on the verso of the rear wrapper, “Ce caractère dessiné par François Ganeau est édité par la Fonderie Olive. Couverture gravée sur bois par Gilbert Poilliot et imprimée par «La Ruche».” Excoffon is said to have had a fairly strong hand in the design of this popular Old Style typeface.
