25 light sketches, a number of them semi-culinary, and including one lampoon on the recent acquisition of Sitka, Alaska; 17 of the sketches are from Cozzens. (Other contributors include Charles Godfrey Leland and Guilian Verplanck.) With the printer slug for the Agathynian Press on the verso of the title. This copy with pleasant contemporary full-page pencil designs in the endpapers, presuably from Alice Chappelle (who has added her signature on the rear pastedown), which add an appealing zing.
